The official lyric video of “Ala Bolelo” from Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer 2 has been released, adding fresh excitement to the highly anticipated sequel. The song brings together the popular combination of Rajinikanth, director Nelson and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who are returning for another chapter in the Jailer franchise.
“Ala Bolelo” is composed, arranged and produced by Anirudh Ravichander, while he also lends his voice to the track. The lyrics are written by Arunraja Kamaraj, adding a lively lyrical identity to the song. The additional vocals feature Niranjana Raman, Aparna Harikumar and Deepthi Suresh.
The music production includes a wide range of live and programmed elements. Rhythm production is handled by Kalyan, with additional programming by Karthik Vamsi and Smith Asher. Amal Raj contributes across several instrumental sections, including guitars, violin, violas and traditional instruments, giving the track a layered musical texture.
The song was recorded at Albuquerque Records in Chennai, with engineering handled by Srinivasan M, Vinay Sridhar and Shivakiran S. The final mastering was completed by Luca Pretolesi at Studio DMI in Las Vegas, with assistance from Alistair Pintus.
The lyric video also adds to the promotional campaign for Jailer 2, which reunites Rajinikanth with Nelson following the success of their previous collaboration. The film is produced by Sun Pictures, with Nelson returning as writer and director.
