The makers of Jailer 2 have unveiled the official first single promo for “Ala Bolelo”, giving fans an early glimpse of the upcoming song from the highly anticipated Rajinikanth starrer. The track is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj and vocals by Anirudh and Deepthi Suresh.
The promo introduces a festive musical setting while featuring Rajinikanth in his familiar style as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The glimpse also features actress Shamna Kassim, who appears as the central performer in the song. The promotional material has drawn attention ahead of the full single release.
“Ala Bolelo” brings together Anirudh’s energetic musical approach with a strong collection of live and programmed elements. The composer has handled the composition, arrangement and production, while Kalyan has worked on rhythm production. Additional programming comes from Smith Asher and Karthik Vamsi, with Amal Raj contributing to keys, rhythm and several live instruments.
The song also features a broad instrumental palette, including electric and acoustic guitars, violin, viola, oud, bazuki, ukulele, ruan and guzheng. The musical team includes several supporting vocalists, adding depth to the arrangement.
The recording was carried out at Albuquerque Records in Chennai, while the track was mixed and mastered by Luca Pretolesi at Studio DMI in Las Vegas. The technical work brings together musicians and engineers from different studios for the song’s final production.
Jailer 2 reunites Rajinikanth, director Nelson Dilipkumar and Anirudh Ravichander, the core combination behind the original Jailer. The sequel is produced by Sun Pictures, with Vijay Kartik Kannan handling cinematography, R. Nirmal editing and Drk. Kiran serving as art director.
The full “Ala Bolelo” single is scheduled for release on August 21, following the promotional glimpse. The song has already attracted attention for its festive presentation and its connection to the Jailer franchise.
With Rajinikanth’s presence, Anirudh’s music and Nelson’s direction, Ala Bolelo marks the beginning of the musical promotions for Jailer 2.
