The much-awaited action thriller SISU is finally on the horizon. Sisu: Road to Revenge, the film is written and directed by Jalmari Helander, who returns to expand the gritty universe he introduced in 2022.

Leading the cast once again is Jorma Tommila, reprising his iconic role as Aatami Korpi, A war veteran turned relentless fighter. Joining him in this high-voltage sequel are Stephen Lang, known for his intense performances in Avatar & Don’t Breathe, and Richard Brake, a familiar face from numerous Hollywood blockbusters.

Produced by Petri Jokiranta and Mike Goodridge under Subzero Film Entertainment and Good Chaos, the project has the backing of Sony’s Stage 6 Films, with Eric Charles overseeing production. With a reported budget of over €11 million, Sisu: Road to Revenge promises high-quality action sequences.

The film is set to premiere at Fantastic Fest in September 2025, giving fans an early look before its worldwide rollout. Following the festival premiere, the movie will release in Finland on October 22, 2025, and in the United States on November 21, 2025, through Sony Pictures Releasing under the Screen Gems banner.
