Prime Video India has released the official trailer of Babita Singh Reporting, an upcoming mystery drama starring Nimisha Sajayan, Barun Sobti and Anshuman Pushkar. Directed by Ambiecka Pandit and written by Amita Vyas, the series follows a police officer whose attempt to handle a personal situation soon pulls her into a dangerous murder investigation.
Nimisha Sajayan plays Baby, a police officer who is used to putting the needs and expectations of others before her own. Hoping to get leave for an important family occasion, she agrees to take responsibility for a false charge. What initially appears to be a simple decision takes an unexpected turn when she travels to Rewa.
During her visit, Baby reconnects with her childhood friend Bansi. However, the reunion is short-lived as Bansi is murdered on the very same night. The shocking incident changes everything and pushes Baby towards a mystery that becomes increasingly personal.
The trailer suggests that Baby’s investigation will not be an easy one.
