The upcoming superhero film Spider-Man Brand New Day marks the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, continuing the journey of one of its most popular characters. Based on the Marvel Comics hero Spider-Man, the film serves as the fourth installment in the MCU Spider-Man series, following Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie brings back Tom Holland as Peter Parker. After the events of the previous film, Peter is now living a very different life, where his identity remains unknown to the world.
The film features a strong cast including Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Sadie Sink, along with actors like Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, and Mark Ruffalo in key roles. Each character contributes to the larger storyline, which revolves around a series of crimes that lead Peter Parker into uncovering a deeper mystery.
Production for the film began in August 2025, with major portions shot in Glasgow, Scotland. Additional filming took place at Pinewood Studios in England, along with other locations across the country. The film is produced by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios, and Pascal Pictures, and will be distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.

The story focuses on Spider-Man’s role as a protector of the city, showing him working independently while facing new threats. As he investigates unusual criminal activities, he is drawn into a larger situation that could have serious consequences.
Spider-Man Brand New Day is scheduled to release in theatres on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. With its mix of action, character-driven storytelling, and mystery elements, the film continues to expand the Spider-Man storyline within the larger Marvel universe.
