Baththa is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, who is also one of the writers. The film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, with Sai Abhyankkar associated with the project as its musical co-producer. Vijay Sethupathi leads the cast alongside Lijomol Jose, with the film featuring other supporting performers.
